Speech Communications Adjunct Instructor

This is an on-campus/face-to-face adjunct position. Teaching duties include 3 credit hours per semester in speech communications. The number of courses/hours taught could increase if there is a demand for more sections. Works collaboratively with the Department Chair or Dean for assigned courses. Promotes student success through development of program learning outcomes and course learning outcomes. Proactive member of the Aggie CARE (Compassion, Accessible, Respect, Empathy) Community. Upholds the OPSU Faculty Promise. Follows university policies and procedures, the university faculty handbook and teaching standards set forth by the university. Instructors are evaluated each semester by students through course evaluations and undergo an annual faculty performance review.

Assistant Football Coach( Offensive Assistant II)

The Offensive Assistant II is responsible for the positive leadership, administration, management and promotion of all aspects of the football program. Offensive Assistant II is required to teach, tutor, and instruct proper skills and skill development to student-athletes more than 50% of your time. Teaching responsibilities include instruction of physical health, team concepts, and safety. You will spend less than 30% of your time developing effective recruitment strategies, recruiting and following up on prospective students, researching and targeting high school and athletic camps as sources for potential student-athletes, and visiting high schools and athletic camps to conduct student interviews.

Assistant Athletic Trainer

To assist with the supervision and coordination of the University’s overall athletic training program, including, but not limited to: injury prevention, evaluation, management, and treatment of athletic injuries, short-term and long rehabilitation of athletic injuries, with and under the supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer, Team Physician, and other qualified medical personnel.

Bursar

The Bursar provides oversight and control over functions in the Business Office pertaining to billing and collection of charges for tuition, fees, campus housing, fanstore charges, etc. In addition, the Bursar also processes and disburses federal and campus-based funds and refunds any overpayments to students’ bursar accounts. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, development and support of cashiering staff, oversight of the accounts receivable system, account analysis, and the maintenance of sound accounting and related processes to foster a system of strong internal accounting and cash controls.

Project Coordinator for Higher Education Prevention Services (Opioid/Stimulant Misuse Prevention)

The Project Coordinator for Higher Education Prevention Services will report directly to the Dean of Student Affairs. This new and exciting position works directly with the OPSU Police Department in tandem with the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) as a primary substance abuse prevention coordinator. This grant funded position includes training and certification from ODMHSAS in the first 18 months of employment. The Project Coordinator will manage the day-to-day efforts of the HEPS (opioid and stimulant misuse prevention) project. This includes, but is not limited to, collaborating with the ODMHSAS, providing leadership for project coalition efforts, developing, and delivering primary prevention outreach and education for students, staff and faculty of OPSU, as well as writing program progress reports and reporting data to the ODMHSAS. This appointment is contingent upon availability of grant or contract funds. If the funds from the grant or contract that provide funding for this appointment are no longer available, this appointment may be terminated without cause upon written notice to the employee.
