Director of Hispanic Student Center

The Director of the Hispanic Student Center (HSC) is responsible for the development and oversight of programs and services which foster success, satisfaction and enhancement of the university experience. Particular emphasis is placed on the implementation of a university-wide strategy designed to increase the recruitment, matriculation, support, retention, and ultimate graduation of students designated as under-represented enrolled at Oklahoma Panhandle State University (OPSU). Additionally, the Director will develop, pilot, and oversee programs and services that will support and enhance the academic, social, emotional, and overall success of students designated as under-represented as well as the entire HSC student body based on the goals and objectives of the Title V HSI Grant.

Head Women’s Soccer Coach

Responsible for all aspects in leading a competitive NAIA soccer program and provide the necessary leadership and to plan, organize, and to carry out the objectives of the university athletic program.

Bursar

The Bursar provides oversight and control over functions in the Business Office pertaining to billing and collection of charges for tuition, fees, campus housing, fanstore charges, etc. In addition, the Bursar also processes and disburses federal and campus-based funds and refunds any overpayments to students’ bursar accounts. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, development and support of cashiering staff, oversight of the accounts receivable system, account analysis, and the maintenance of sound accounting and related processes to foster a system of strong internal accounting and cash controls.

Assistant Professor of History

The College of Arts and Education actively seeks an on-campus assistant professor for our undergraduate history program. Commitment to excellence in teaching and scholarly, research, and/or creative activities are required. Works collaboratively with the Department Chair or Dean for assigned courses. Promotes student success through development of program learning outcomes and course learning outcomes. Proactive member of the Aggie CARE (Compassion, Accessible, Respect, Empathy) Community. Upholds the OPSU Faculty Promise. Follows university policies and procedures, the university faculty handbook and teaching standards set forth by the university. Instructors are evaluated each semester by students through course evaluations and undergo an annual faculty performance review. Conditions of Employment: 1. Appointment is as specified in the letter of appointment. 2. Initial faculty appointments are for one academic year. 3. Successful completion and passing of a background check is required prior to employment being offered.

Instructor/Assistant Professor of Business Administration (on campus)

The College of Business and Technology actively seeks an on-campus instructor or assistant professor for our undergraduate business administration program. Commitment to excellence in teaching and scholarly, research, and/or creative activities are required. Our undergraduate business program is moving toward achieving accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), and we seek a motivated business faculty member who will help us achieve this new standard for teaching and learning. Works collaboratively with the Interim Dean. Promotes student success through the development of program learning outcomes and course learning outcomes. Instructor/Assistant Professor of Music

Directing the university performance groups (concert choir, chamber singers, concert band, athletic band) and teaching music theory, conducting, private lessons, and music history courses as needed; recruiting to the music program; mentoring music student campus organizations; and fulfilling university responsibilities as needed. Works collaboratively with the Department Chair or Dean for assigned courses. Promotes student success through development of program learning outcomes and course learning outcomes. Head Athletic Trainer

Will serve as administrator of all athletic training services, which includes the complete healthcare of all athletes and supervision of certified athletic trainers, serving as primary athletic trainer for specific assigned teams and as a liaison among staff, athletes, parents, and health care providers, managing assigned athletic training facilities and program records.
