Upward Bound Office Assistant

The main objective of the Upward Bound at OPSU program is to prepare rural high school students who are economically disadvantaged and/or potential first-generation college students for entrance into and persistence in postsecondary education. The Office Administrator is under the direct supervision of the Director and performs general duties for program staff including preparation of reports, correspondence, maintenance of office supplies and forms inventory, policy manuals and office files, distribution of mail, recording of student data, and answering the telephone

Adjunct Instructor of Health and Physical Education

Oklahoma Panhandle State University is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach in-person courses in first aid, care and prevention of athletics injuries, and the athletics trainer’s internship course.

Instructor/Assistant Professor of Chemistry

Teaches 27 – 30 credit hours per year. Works collaboratively with the department chair and faculty for assigned courses. Promotes student success through development of program learning outcomes and course learning outcomes. Proactive member of the Aggie CARE (Compassion, Accessible, Respect, Empathy) Community. Upholds the OPSU Faculty Promise. Follows university policies and procedures, the university faculty handbook, and teaching standards set forth by the university. Instructors are evaluated each semester by students through course evaluations and undergo an annual faculty performance review.

Head Athletic Trainer

Will serve as administrator of all athletic training services, which includes the complete healthcare of all athletes and supervision of certified athletic trainers, serving as primary athletic trainer for specific assigned teams and as a liaison among staff, athletes, parents, and health care providers, managing assigned athletic training facilities and program records.

Assistant Professor of Education (Reading Specialist)

Full time position in Education to begin August 2023. Responsibilities include teaching foundations of reading, field experience practicum, methods and materials in reading, and educational technology courses; serving on Teacher Education Council; supervising student interns and residency teachers, and other duties as assigned.
