Ensembles at OPSU are a great way for students and community members to get involved in music-making. All ensembles are classes, and interested students should register for the appropriate course in the University schedule prior to the beginning of the semester. Some ensembles are limited by audition, but any OPSU student or community member is encouraged to try out!

Music scholarships are available for all students enrolled in ensembles! For full scholarship consideration, incoming freshmen and transfer students should give a scholarship audition, either on one of the Music Department’s audition dates or by appointment. Additionally, scholarships are available through the Panhandle State Foundation, several of which are specific to music students.

OPSU community members with two or more years of vocal or instrumental experience are welcome to participate in OPSU ensembles, but are expected to maintain the same level of commitment to attendance, practice and conduct as student ensemble members.
