Dean of Student Services, Amber Glass, has announced her departure after four years at Oklahoma Panhandle State University.
Glass has served as Dean of Student Services since September of 2020 after her time spent as Registrar and Director of Admissions. Prior to her role at Panhandle State, she served at Connors State College and Bacone College.
Provost, Dr. Julie Dinger commented, “Ms. Glass has been an integral part of our success at OPSU. She set a standard for quality in all she has done at Panhandle State. We are proud of her and her accomplishments and I wish her success in her future endeavors.”
“I am honored to have served Oklahoma Panhandle State University as the Dean of Student Services and previously as Registrar. I am appreciative of the guidance that I have received from our leadership team and numerous colleagues. I am grateful for the opportunities to have helped students achieve their goals and to help them grow as individuals. While I will miss my OPSU friends and family, I am excited about this new opportunity. I will always be grateful to have been a part of some of the greatest accomplishments in OPSU’s recent history and am excited to see what the future holds for OPSU,” said Dean Glass.
University President, Dr. Tim Faltyn stated, “Amber has grown tremendously as a leader on campus and in higher education. I am proud of the work she has done to promote excellent student experiences. I am confident she will continue to make an impact on higher education.”
