Jerry Lee Jefferis

Jerry was born April 13, 1951. He attended Goodwell Public Schools, and graduated from Panhandle State College in 1972 and was commissioned a second lieutenant in the Army. He served five years on active duty with service in West Germany.

His civilian employment began as a production supervisor for Mobil Chemical Co. in Shawnee. He then worked for American Trustee Life Corp. in Oklahoma for 9 years with his last position as Vice-President of Training and Development. In the following 9 years, Jerry worked in various positions with Love’s Country Stores, Inc. in Oklahoma City. He held various position including, Recruiting and Training Specialist, Director of Training, Director of Human Resources, and Director of Systems Training. Leaving Love’s for Thrifty Car Rental in Tulsa, Jerry changed careers, moving into the information technology field as Director of Counter Systems. His time with Thrifty included 15 months in England in 1999 and 2000. His career was affected-like so many others-by the events of September 11, 2001, resulting in a 20% reduction in force at Thrifty.

Jerry next became co-founder and President of Diversified Systems & Service Innovations, LLC, providing computer systems and services to the used car sales and auto rental industries. In February, 2004, Jerry joined Factor/WR Hess of Chickasha as Director of Education and Training, providing software, services and support to the petroleum marketing industry.

In 1972, Jerry married Sheryl Keith Kretchmar, daughter of Eugene V. and Jeanine Keith of Guymon. They have three children: Shelley Renae Kretchmar, Jason Keith, and Autumn Nicole. On September 29, 1988, Jerry married Cheryl Lynn Dyer of Amarillo, Texas. They have two children, Adrienne Leigh and Cory Joseph and currently reside in Edmond.
