Elva (Waugh) Bentley

Elva Waugh Bentley graduated from Panhandle State University in 1976 with a BS degree in Home Economics. She married Mickey D. Bentley, a Panhandle graduate in 1975. He retired from the Laverne Public Schools in 2004 after 30 years of teaching. Elva and Mickey own Bentley Kennels, farm and live in the Laverne, Oklahoma area. They are very involved in their community and First Baptist Church of Laverne.

Mickey and Elva have three (3) children. Ty Dean graduated from OPSU in 1999. He lives in the Laverne area with his wife Cyndi and their 3 children and owns Bentley Roofing. Dustin and his wife Melissa Bryan Bentley both graduated from OPSU in 2002. He is employed by Production Services Network and Melissa is a homemaker. They make their home in Laverne. Tonya Bentley Cox graduated form NWOSU in Alva and lives in Booker, TX. Tonya teaches the third grade and her husband Matt teaches as well.
