The Panhandle State Business Club, Phi Beta Lambda, Celebrates PBL Week

Phi Beta Lambda, the Business Club at OPSU, gears up to celebrate PBL Week from February 13 through February 19. The theme of the year for FBLA-PBL is “Success Starts Here,” as a time to celebrate the integral role of this career and technical organization provided to all students.

Advisor for PBL Kim Smith stated, “This week is an exciting opportunity for the club members to showcase their experiences with the club on and off-campus. PBL is a great organization to accelerate a student’s success whether it is through competition events, networking with alumni, or giving back to the local community.”

The themes for each day of PBL week are:

Sunday, February 13: Success Starts Here Day

Monday, February 14: Adviser Appreciation Day

Tuesday, February 15: Share Your Story Day

Wednesday, February 16: Chapter Networking Day

Thursday, February 17: Business Development Day

Friday, February 18: FBLA-PBL Spirit Day

Saturday, February 19: Community Service Day

Treasurer of the PBL Club Manuel Medina commented, “FBLA-PBL is an incredible organization that prepares us to become community-minded business leaders. PBL accomplishes this through student-led activities on campus and in the local communities. PBL also allows us to network with alumni and community members through our various community service activities. This special week allows us as students to show our appreciation for our advisors, share our stories on social media, and grow our networks and chapters.”

To celebrate PBL Week with the students this week, you can share their posts on social media and join them for their on-campus events.
