Soccer Tournament Set for October 27

Goodwell, Okla. — In what promises to be a fun filled day of action, Oklahoma Panhandle State University’s Hispanic American Leadership Organization (HALO), along with the newly formed Panhandle Hispanic Alumni, is hosting a soccer tournament on Saturday, October 27th at Anchor D Stadium in Goodwell.

The tournament is open to the public ages 15 and up and area soccer players are encouraged to gather a team and join the fun. Outside teams may sign up with Geraldine Sanchez at 580.461.6075 and student teams should contact Teri Mora. Panhandle State student teams will be sponsored by HALO. All outside teams will pay a $150 entry fee. There will be trophies and medals for the winning teams. Funds will go toward future scholarships sponsored by the Hispanic Alumni.

A concession stand will be available and there will be other sideline games for children. Come out for a fun filled family day!
