“Bursar” is a term unique to higher education and means “keeper of the purse.” The Bursar Office bills and collects tuition, fees, campus housing, and other university-related charges. The Bursar Office also processes all refunds of any overpayments made on students’ bursar accounts.
In efforts to assist our students in meeting financial obligations, Oklahoma Panhandle State University offers six different payment option plans as an alternative to the traditional lump-sum payment method. These plans provide an opportunity for families and enrolled students to pay University-billed expenses in installment payments. Authorized users may set up a payment plan on behalf of the student.
Payment plans will be available on the first day of classes. Choose a payment plan that best fits your schedule. $25 enrollment application fee (non-refundable). No finance charges as long as installment payments are current.
You can add your eRefund account in your MyOnlineBilling to receive your refund by direct deposit to the bank account of your choice. You will still need to pick up your paper refund check at the Business Office if you do not set up eRefund.
Oklahoma Panhandle State University’s International Credit Card fee rate is now 4.25 percent, effective as of February 23, 2024. The increase in fee rate will impact only online credit card payments through PayPath. Please contact opsu.bursar@opsu.edu if you have questions or need assistance.
