RN to BSN Program

The mission of the RN to BSN Program is to broaden previous nursing education for personal, professional, and educational progression.

Why OPSU RN to BSN?

Our philosophy of caring and focus on the adult learner has allowed us to develop a unique program that does not require campus attendance.

How long will it take to complete my BSN?

Most courses are 8 weeks in length. If general education courses and elective requirements are met, the program can be completed in two semesters if attending full-time or four semesters if attending part-time.

How much does the degree cost?

At OPSU, online students may be able to complete their degree at a lower cost than other traditional, on-campus programs. You can earn your degree for only $160 per credit hour, plus additional course fees. You may use our Tuition and Cost Estimator to estimate the cost of each semester.

Can I transfer credits in?

Absolutely! In fact, we will complete a preliminary assessment of prior coursework to help you determine how many additional courses you will need to complete your degree.

What type of institution is OPSU?

Founded in 1909, OPSU is a baccalaureate degree granting institution located in Goodwell, Oklahoma. The university is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).

What are the application requirements?

An associate’s degree or diploma in nursing from a programmatically accredited nursing program (ACEN, CCNE, etc.). An active and unencumbered RN license. Ability to obtain official transcripts from all colleges previously attended.

Is the RN to BSN program accredited?

Yes! The online nursing program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
