Withdrawing from the University

Before considering a withdrawal from OPSU, students should consult their academic advisor. Then, they must complete the Withdrawal Form, which international students must also obtain approval from the Office of International Students and Scholars (ISS).

Students must initiate the withdrawal form within the applicable deadlines. Withdrawals will be processed as of the date submitted by the student and according to the drop and refund deadlines for each registered class. Please visit the Academic Calendar for applicable drop, withdrawal, and refund deadlines. Students called to active duty military services should use the Military Leave of Absence/Withdrawal form.
