Student Hunter Harris commented, “State Leadership Conference has been an amazing opportunity to showcase our dedication to our field of study. This was my third SLC, and I always love the competition. Coming home with 10+ State Championships every year showcases the success that is formed in Carter Hall. Every PBL member is excited to compete at Nationals in Orlando, FL, this summer. We hope to add to the impressive number of top-10 finishes competing with much larger colleges and, most importantly, beating them.”

Student Carlos Flores stated, “FBLA has been a platform for me to grow professionally and learn from others. At SLC, we were able to perform with our talents and skills, and we are proudly representing OPSU. To see our successes is beyond gratifying and rewarding for the work that is put in day in and day out.”

Amanda Beasley, Interim Dean of the College of Business and Technology, stated, “When I accompanied this group of students to Edmond, I was fortunate enough to witness the confidence and pride this competition instills in them. I am very proud of their results and am excited to see what they accomplish at the National Competition.”

Panhandle Business leaders are excited about their 2024 state results, continuing the excellence. They will attend the National Leadership Conference (NLC) hosted in Orlando, Florida, June 24-27, 2024.
