14th Annual Chili Cook-off Set for March 27th

The 14th annual fan favorite Panhandle State Chili Cook-off is set for March 27th. The Cook-off will be held from 11AM to 1PM in the tailgate area outside of Anchor D Arena. The contest is free to enter and free for taste testers alike. Winners will be announced at halftime of the football game. Aggie fans will be given the opportunity to sample all the entries and vote for their favorite as the People’s Choice Winner.

Chili Cook-off will be paired with Panhandle State football’s last home game against Dordt University kick-off starting at 1PM, and will celebrate Senior Day. There will be 13 student-athletes to honor their last game in Anchor D Arena as an Aggie.

For more information on Chili Cook-off, contact Laura Torres at 580.349.1552. A complete list of guidelines and an entry form may be found at chili.opsu.edu.

The Admissions Office is also excited to be hosting their annual Aggie Day. The event is expected to bring over 50 high school seniors to tour campus and speak to faculty and staff about attending Panhandle State.
