Goodwell, Okla. — The Oklahoma Panhandle State University Wellness Committee, the Noble Center, and Aggie Intramurals are hosting the third Annual Lazyman Triathlon and registration is now open to all Panhandle State employees and students as well as community members.
A perfect way to get summer fit, the Lazyman is an Iron-distance triathlon consisting of a 2.4-mile swim or 20,000-meter row, 112-mile bike ride and 26.2-mile run or walk. The challenge begins March 25 and runs through April 29, 2019. This event is open to participants from all fitness levels and the three events can be completed at any pace.
Each triathlete will complete a weekly distance log to be submitted for final review on April 30th, 2019 to qualify as completing the Lazyman Triathlon. Logs must be completed before Tuesday each week.
This event is free of charge for all Panhandle State students and employees. A $20.00 entry fee is required for all community members. Registration must be completed before March 25, 2019 and no late registrations will be accepted.
All participants who complete the Lazyman mileage and keep required weekly logs will receive an award for their hard work.
