I have been an artist my whole life, and I am very excited to graduate as a first-generation student being able to pursue my passions.
Whitney Davis
“Whitney is an excellent student worker in the Communications Department. Her talent excels beyond an easel and a camera. She is always willing to help with whatever I ask of her. She has been the running force behind the University Tik-Tok account and has helped with several events across campus,” said Natasha Eidson, Director of Communications.
Davis will graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Photography. She will also be graduating with honors, Magna Cum Laude. She is the Cheer Team Captain and is also Vice-President of the Images Art Club.
Being close to home is what drew Davis into coming to Panhandle State. “The art department was another reason I chose to come to Panhandle because of how great the department was and how it made this campus feel like a family,” she said.
Among the many things Davis accounts for being her favorites at Panhandle State, she listed two that was top on her list. “The lifelong friendships I have made with so many people, and how everyone is so quick to lend a helping hand no matter what.”
Her hobbies primarily include anything to do with art. “I have been an artist my whole life, and I am very excited to graduate as a first-generation student being able to pursue my passions.”
