The opportunity to further my career in softball and education brought me to OPSU. My grandparents also attended OPSU when they were my age.

Due to medical redshirting her freshman year, she is currently a sophomore on the field. Caitley is set to graduate in the Spring of 2023 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

“The opportunity to further my career in softball and education brought me to OPSU. My grandparents also attended OPSU when they were my age.”

Caitley recently received an opportunity to work with Lauren Chamberlain on a Women’s Professional Fastpitch promotion video to represent NAIA College Softball.

“I’m so grateful to get to be a part of something that’s going to be so huge for women’s softball. I got the chance to represent OPSU and every athlete that might have the dream of playing beyond women’s college softball by participating in this video.”

She continued, “I got to spend the day with nine other college athletes, including Nicole Mendes, former Oklahoma University softball player and currently a Mexico Women’s National Softball Team member. I got to hang out with her and hear all about her experiences at the Olympics.”

Chamberlain commented, “Cait and I have a family relationship, and it only made sense for me to include her as an actress in this campaign. She loves softball and wants to help the sport grow, so she was willing to participate in this. Not only as a softball actress but as a member of my family! She’s incredible, and her contribution will only help the future of softball grow.”

After graduation, Caitley plans to find a career path with her degree in mind. “I plan on getting a full-time job with my degree as well as helping my dad run our family ranch. I plan on investing in cattle and land as a side hobby/job. I also plan to work more for Lauren and be one of her right hands in all future projects. I want softball to be a part of my life even after I finish my career playing for the Aggies.”
