Oklahoma Panhandle State University Recognized Among Top Institutions in the West by U.S. News & World Report

Oklahoma Panhandle State University has once again earned national recognition for its excellence in higher education, securing multiple rankings in the U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 Best Colleges list. OPSU was ranked 13th in Top Public Schools – Regional Colleges West, 32nd in Top Performers on Social Mobility – Regional Colleges West, and 36th overall in the Regional Colleges West category.

This recognition is based on a thorough analysis of data from various sources, including Peterson’s, IPEDS, and College Scorecard. Key criteria focus on program quality, affordability, and time to degree completion.

Further affirming its affordability and value, OPSU was ranked 18th on Intelligent.com Best Online Colleges with Lowest Out-of-State Tuition for 2025. Intelligent.com used a data-driven approach to evaluate institutions based on academic quality, graduation rates, cost, and return on investment.
