OPSU Presents Spring Choir and Band Concert: A Showcase of Musical Talent in the Oklahoma Panhandle

Oklahoma Panhandle State University is proud to announce its upcoming Spring Choir and Band Concert, showcasing the talent and dedication of our students. The concert is scheduled for April 23rd at 7 p.m. in Hughes Strong Auditorium.

Under the guidance of OPSU’s Music Director, Zachary Cooke, the concert promises to be a celebration of musical excellence. Cooke shared, “It has been a joy preparing to direct our final spring choir and band concert, which follows up on the extraordinary work the students presented in February. Watching the students grow throughout this semester and develop intrinsic musicianship and vulnerability in the music has been a delight! The students have worked hard and diligently to learn the intricate repertoire for this concert. It has been an honor and joy to present these concerts in my first semester at OPSU.”

Audiences can anticipate dynamic performances featuring a range of musical selections that highlight the students’ talent. From choral arrangements to instrumental pieces, the concert promises to deliver an unforgettable experience.

Don’t miss this opportunity to witness OPSU’s musicians. Join us for an evening of music that is sure to lift your spirits.
