Oklahoma Panhandle State University announced the Dean of the Agriculture, Science, and Nursing College (COASN) as Tracy Kincannon. Kincannon is a third-generation graduate of Panhandle State with over two decades of experience as an education teacher and administrator.
Originally from Boise City, Kincannon graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Education in 1999 from Panhandle State. He then taught agriculture education classes in Hardesty and Texhoma. In 2006, he received his Master’s in Educational Leadership from Southern Nazarene University and began his career in education administration. He dedicated 22 years to K-12 education before being called to higher education.
University President, Dr. Julie Dinger stated, “I am so pleased to welcome Mr. Tracy Kincannon to the OPSU family. He brings a commitment to excellent student experiences and a leadership style that will continue to grow and improve our work and reputation.”
“I am so very excited to join the team and help execute the mission of OPSU, progress through knowledge,” said Kincannon.
Kincannon and his wife, Cindy, have been married for 28 years and have three children Clayton, Brett, and Audrey. Tracy and his wife love to travel and spend time with their family.
