Oklahoma Panhandle State University has earned the following rankings for U.S. News & World Report: #5 Top Public Schools – Regional Colleges West; #24 Best Regional Colleges West; and #10 Regional Colleges West for Social Mobility. This is the first year that Panhandle State has been ranked in the Top 5 Public Colleges for the Western Region.
University President, Dr. Tim Faltyn stated, “This is an exciting achievement not only for Panhandle State, but also for our region and those we serve. It is an honor to be recognized among 14 states in our region as a Top 5 Public College.”
Provost, Dr. Julie Dinger commented, “This is truly an outstanding accomplishment. Our faculty and staff are the best at what they do and I appreciate US News recognizing their hard work and dedication.”
In a time where many universities were resorting to a remote learning atmosphere, Panhandle State stayed open and continued to give students the best possible experience.
Dr. Faltyn stated, “This recognition confirms that we excel in meeting students where they are and helping them get to where they want to be. We have demonstrated it with this award, consistently strong enrollment and record setting graduation rates.”
