In light of Governor Stitt’s lifting of state coronavirus restrictions, Oklahoma Panhandle State University is looking forward to an in-person, socially distanced outdoor graduation ceremony for our 2020 and 2021 graduates in May. We are planning and looking forward to returning to in-person campus activities in the fall.
OPSU President, Tim Faltyn, stated, “We will continue to be thoughtful about our students, faculty, and staff’s health and safety and seek their input as we move forward. Over this past year, we have been very successful in limiting the number of cases and exposure to COVID-19 on campus. We will work with our campus community as we revise and improve our current protocols that protect the student experience.”
Additionally, OPSU is partnering with the Oklahoma Department of Health to provide vaccines to faculty, staff, and students on March 22nd.
Please check our OPSU website regularly for the most updated information.
We thank you for your continued support of the OPSU community.
