Goodwell, Okla. — New Student Orientation days are set at Oklahoma Panhandle State University and all future Aggies are invited to join the fun. Students will have the opportunity to learn about services offered at Panhandle State, meet new friends, and register for classes.
Panhandle State offers three New Student Orientations throughout the summer and all new, first-time freshmen who have been admitted to Panhandle State are invited to attend. Registration is first-come, first serve. Space is limited. One-day sessions are scheduled for May 23 and August 5 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Overnight Orientation is June 21-22 and strongly recommended for a complete Aggie experience.
Check-in is located at the Student Union Building on campus. Lunch will be provided and all new students in attendance will receive a free t-shirt.
Parents and family are welcome to attend, there is a $5 guest fee for the one-day event and a $10 guest fee for the overnight experience. Quests will have the opportunity to attend question and answer information sessions during the orientation.
Director of High School and Community Relations Jade Singleton-Reich said, “New Student Orientation is a unique experience for our incoming freshman class to join us on campus to meet other future Aggies, learn about Panhandle State’s student services, and register for their Fall 2019 classes. We are excited to meet our incoming freshmen and their families.”
