Rodeo Team Set for a Weekend in Fort Scott

Goodwell, Okla. — The Oklahoma Panhandle State University Rodeo team is set to travel to Fort Scott, Kan. for their sixth rodeo of the season on Friday, March 8- 10, 2019. Slack is scheduled to kick off Friday morning inside Arnold Arena at 9 a.m. with performances Friday night, Saturday afternoon, and Saturday night concluding with the short round Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.

Featuring athletes from 25 Kansas and Oklahoma two and four-year colleges, this is the 38th time for the annual event.

Notes:
The women’s team is currently sitting first in the Central Plains Region standings and the men are second.

Freshman Beau Peterson is looking to keep the momentum rolling after an exciting weekend of roping at RFD-TV’s The American at Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Peterson made an impressive fifth place finish in the Breakaway roping.
