Enter Now for the 2018 Homecoming Parade

Goodwell, Okla. — Homecoming celebration planning is in full swing at Oklahoma Panhandle State University and we want you to join the festivities!

The Panhandle State Student Senate homecoming committee would like to invite all area businesses, local organizations, and campus clubs to participate. This year’s homecoming theme is “Flashback to the 90s” and participants are encouraged to think about the new changes on campus and the pride at Panhandle State when working on the parade floats. Floats must be school appropriate. Plaques will be awarded to first, second, and third place floats.

The parade will start at 11 a.m. and debut a brand new parade route that travels from the Noble Center in front of the Holter Hall Dorms down to Eagle Blvd. before turning onto Aggie Avenue and continuing in front of Anchor D Arena and circling back around the Aggie Apartments through the tailgate zone. The new route will bring the parade to the tailgate and right through the heart of campus. Parade line-up will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the Noble Center parking lot. A view of the new route map is available at homecoming.opsu.edu.

Entry forms can be found at homecoming.opsu.edu and may be submitted digitally, mailed, or faxed (580.349.2302) to the Panhandle State Homecoming Committee no later than 4 p.m. on September 19, 2018.

If you have any questions, contact Emilie Cowan, Student Life Coordinator, at emilie.cowan@opsu.edu or Sidney Tigler, Homecoming Chair, at sidney.tigler@opsu.edu.
