Brown-Jutras to Present Senior Flute Recital

Goodwell, Okla. — Oklahoma Panhandle State University senior Jasmine Brown- Jutras is presenting a undergraduate junior recital on the flute Wednesday, May 9 at 8 p.m. in Centennial Theatre. Admission is free and everyone is invited to attend.

Jasmine is performing Allegro Moderato, Syrinx, Sonate, and Tambourin. Each of the pieces is designed specifically for performance by the flute. Jasmine will be accompanied by Tanner Aubrey, Choir Director in Guymon, Okla.

A student of Mr. Brandon Brady, this recital serves as a partial fulfillment of the requirements of a bachelor’s degree in music performance for Jasmine.

She is studying Music Performance and Music Education with an emphasis in Instrumental instruction. Over the last five years, Jasmine has participated in both Athletic and Concert Band, as well as Concert Choir and Chamber Singers. During her five years on the Oklahoma Panhandle State campus, Jasmine has been actively involved in several activities and experiences within and outside of the music program.
