Job Summary:

Assist with promotion and sponsorship of Aggie Athletics


1. Work with Campus Communications and Sports Information on marketing

2. Make sure all home games have a voice
3. Assist with marketing, promotions, and sponsorships for Aggie Athletics
4. Work with local media outlets for promotions
5. Serve as a media contact for sports assigned by SID.
6. Serve as official statistician at various sporting events.
7. Editing and printing game programs.
8. Maintaining and updating the athletics web site ( and social media channels.
9. Assisting with the production of video web casts, historical research, writing press releases and publishing feature stories (video and written).
10. Assist SID with management of student workers, game day tables, and press box crews.
11. Assist with set up of game day equipment.
12. Assist in preparing game notes/programs, team media guides, and team photos.
13. Help coordinate and supervise video stream of home contests and social media outlets associated with athletics.
14. Available to work weekends, evenings, and potential holidays as dictated by the university's sports' schedules.

15. Must be able to lift more than 50-lb. objects; frequent bending, stooping, and walking.
16. Ability to work various hours, including nights and weekends throughout the year for practice, games and recruiting.
17. Be able to transport team to the contests, and be responsible for their well-being.
18. Could be exposed to a variety of weather conditions.
19. Other duties as assigned by the Sports Information Director or designee

1. Knowledge of athletic contests
2. Sponsorship and/or advertising sales experience.
4. Excellent written/oral communication, as well as demonstrate strong organizational skills.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
