Released by Panhandle State Sports Information on 02/26/2018

Goodwell, Okla.—The Sooner Athletic Conference announced the Softball Player of the Week for Feb. 19-25 was Panhandle State's center fielder Jewell Lee.

The freshman outfielder from Yukon, Okla. hit .667 (12-of-18), scored ten runs, two triples and six RBIs in a four-game series sweep of Central Christian College. Lee's strong performance at the plate helped the Aggies add three conference wins to their record.

Head Coach Meghan Mulcahy commented with enthusiasm, "I'm really proud of Jewell [Lee] and her performance at the plate. She has been giving us a chance to score runs every time she's at bat."
Congratulations to Jewell Lee and the entire Aggie softball team for their successful start to Sooner Athletic Conference play.
